Dr. Matrljan is the CEO and owner of ProfDM Consulting and Advisory GmbH. As a senior lecturer, coach, and mentor, he is involved in graduate and postgraduate programs at various universities and business schools, shaping the next generation of leaders in strategic project management, culture transformations, and organizational leadership and behavior.

He holds a Doctor of Business Administration and a Master of Applied Business Research from SBS Swiss Business School, as well as an MBA in Strategic Project Management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rijeka, Croatia.

With over 20 years of international experience, Dr. Matrljan has successfully managed complex strategic projects and programs. Early in his career, he became one of the youngest professionals to achieve the IPMA Level A certification (Certified Projects Director / Certified Portfolio Director) and the AIPMO certifications (PMO Expert IPMO-E and AIPMO ACE).

Currently, Dr. Matrljan is very active as a consultant, specialising in culture transformations, leadership development, and creating high-performing teams. He also focuses on project, program, portfolio, and PMO consulting, working with various international companies across industries, including pharmaceuticals, energy, investments, retail, fintech, management consulting, software development, and product and platform development.
